A photo of North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un wearing a suit has been released, somewhat different to his regular Kim Il-sung style outfit he’s normally seen sporting. Thousands of netizens have shared their views of Kim’s new look, below is a selection.

North Korea: Photo of Kim Jong-un wearing a suit publicly released
On the 12th of this month, North Korea’s Rodong Newspaper released a photo of Kim Jong-un wearing a western-style suit.
Kim Jong-un, who made his first official appearance in September 2010 after being promoted as the next leader of the Kim throne has mostly been seen sporting a Mao-suit while performing on-the-spot inspections of various military sites. However this year, he has a different face to the one of his authoritarian father King Jong Il who could be seen directly shaking hands of both people and soldiers alike.
The newspaper published a photo from the day before the 4th Workers’ Party Conference (April 11th) of Kim wearing a suit. During the event, Kim was crowned first secretary of the Worker’s Party. The KCNA (North Korea’s main news agency) praised him with ‘the highest honor’, designating his as a ‘premier’ supreme leader.
