During a televised performance by the pop group DBSK (also known as Tohoshinki in Japan) of their song “Purple Line”, the Korean Broadcasting Service (KBS) employed the use of a high powered green laser as part of the show. However, rather than using the laser sparingly, parts of the performance were almost completely obscured by a blinding green web of light. The incident, which originally took place in 2008, recently came back as a source of much amusement among netizens, with some creating image parodies in response.
