Thanks to everyone who entered the book giveaway! I can see a lot of our readers are focusing on their health and well-being this upcoming year, friends and loved ones, academics, and challenging themselves to break out of their comfort zone. Many of you also expressed a desire to keep improving your Korean, which I hope kB is helping with!
In terms of our readers’ New Years resolutions for kB coverage, many of you expressed a desire to see content published more often. We have a small but dedicated team, so we do the best we can to publish as many articles we can a week. Our manpower and schedules currently limit us to about four articles a week, but we are looking for ways to increase the number with your support. We are always looking for more translators, so if you’re interested in contributing, contact us.
Other content requests included more articles on society and culture, trends, health, foreigners, business, and politics. We aim to cover a wide range of topics on our site, depending on what is trending in the Korean media among netizens. Our translators also have preferences for which popular articles they want to work on. For instance, I personally like to work on society, culture, and politics articles. If there are popular and trending articles from Korean media that you are interested in seeing covered, email us the link and we’ll take a look. Who knows, it may end up being published on the site!
Now without further ado, let’s announce the winners for the new year’s giveaway:
Congratulations to: Char for “Making Out in Korean,” bedevilled for “A Geek in Korea,” and sarah for “K-Pop Now!”
Please email us your shipping addresses so we can get the books to you.
Thanks to all our loyal readers for your continued support and readership of kB, and here’s to the start of an amazing year of the Sheep, and taking steps towards fulfilling resolutions!
